Daniel Beck to Cut First Solo Album
*Note-New deadline and contact info!
Daniel Beck is a passionate and charismatic vocalist with a long track record of recording and performing. His recent duet: The Prayer, with Jessie Clark Funk on her new album Everything Speaks His Name has been a smash hit. His work on the Liken video series is recognized by many. His solo version of You Raise Me Up from the EFY 2007 Power in Purity cd has been a monster success.
Dan is now working on a track list for his own solo album. It will be produced by legendary LDS artist, Kenneth Cope.
Dan says: ”This album will be an adult contemporary/pop/inspirational album. We are not looking for songs that are LDS-centric. This album is intended to be something that can reach and be enjoyed by anyone regardless of religious background. Therefore, they need not be too religious in nature although any deeper religious meaning that can be discovered within the song is very welcome. We want songs that can be heard on the radio other than just Sunday. Just good, uplifting songs. We are looking for songs of all types: powerful ballads, slower art pieces, and of course fun upbeat numbers that will bring a house down in a live performance, and anything and everything that packs a nice, “WOW!” factor. Don’t be shy about about sending in your upbeat stuff!”
The album will be an independent production sponsored by www.yourLDSneighborhood.com. It will be a top notch production with an excellent budget.
Producer Greg Hansen said, “Having toured with Dan,-as well as recording with him,-I’ve seen him bring the house down every time he gets up and sings.”
