OVERVIEW
One year $3000 Investment

• yourLDSneighborhood.com will sell your CD in our Neighborhood Music Store, giving you an online retail outlet—one which will be advertised heavily. Your CD will sell for $14.95, of which we pay you $6 per CD. The portion of the retail sale price which we retain will allow us to advertise and market your CD to other retailers and consumers. We will also take care of the fulfillment of orders (shipping and handling). We will retain 20% of the download retail price for marketing and advertising purposes. Our goal is to sell 1500 CDs, giving you a return of $9000 (3:1).

• You will have a “landing page” in our retail store. The landing page will show your CD cover and the three categories you are listed under in the Music Directory. From the landing page the consumer can also listen to an mp3 sample of each of your songs. Most importantly, on this page the consumer has the opportunity to buy your CD online from our online music store, find a “brick and mortar” store which handles your CD, or link to download your music from one of three sites: LDSTunesNow; Positive Music (new site from Greg Hansen); ITunes.

• You may place three songs of your choice in the jukebox per month.

• Your music will be submitted to the programmer of our new Neighborhood online “streaming” radio station KVALU, as well as other stations that favor LDS and family-friendly programming for airplay consideration.

• You and your music will be promoted through yourLDSneighborhood.com ads which will promote the Music Directory, the Music Store, the Juke Box, and Online Radio KVALU. These ads will run on BYU TV, commercial radio, TV, and print ads. The ads will bring people to the neighborhood where they can find you and hear your music.

• You will be a “Featured Artist” in yourLDSneighborhood.com newsletter. The newsletter goes out four times a week to more than 7,000 subscribers scattered all over the country. Our subscription list grows daily.

• You will have a set of four ads produced to be used in the newsletter. We will provide the technical team to produce the ads. You will provide the ideas and direction. You will also be able to use these ads in your other advertising endeavors.

• We will provide a beginning consultation, with feedback on product marketability, and get input from you as to the direction you feel you want your music to go. We will explain our program and where we expect your ads will be placed so that you can give comments and feedback. During the year we will track your ads to see what is working and what is not. At the end of your year contract we will sit down review the newsletter and website tracking reports to see what worked and what didn’t. Our goal is have you be successful and continue to want to be promoted. If we can’t make it profitable for you, we will recommend workshops that may help you to improve technique and marketability of your work.

• You will be featured in an article posted on “Music Notes” in the newsstand on the music block and also in “Positive Music and Arts”. Those articles are generally up for one week.

• You will get exposure to the LDS Booksellers Association (LDSBA) retailers at their conventions through yourLDSneighborhood.com’s booth.
