Movie Emma Smith—My StoryEXTENDED TO JUNE 27TH! Wonderful historical movie written and directed by Gary Cook who did “Joseph- Prophet of the Restoration” in the Visitors Center. CINEMARK MESA 16 THEATER Friday, May 30th-Friday June 27th. Music Soundtrack by Merrill Jenson. All proceeds will go to the Joseph Smith Jr and Emma Hale Smith Historical Society.
Family Show The Secret Garden, runs at Chandler Gilbert Community College from June 23-28. June 23, 26 & 27 at 7:30 pm. June 28, 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm. Tickets are $5 for matinee and $10 for evening. CGCC Box Office (480)732-7343.
Family Inspirational Music- E11even Family Concert, Tuesday, June 24, 7:00pm at the Mesa Pueblo Stake Center (2334 E. Pueblo Avenue, Mesa). Kimberly & LaVar Kofoed and their nine children from Eagle, Idaho present a program of “family, faith, love & fun”- one evening only. For more info go to www.e11evenfamily.com. Inspirational Family Musical! “1856” The Musical is the depiction of this important chapter of testimony, faith, and dedication that has few rivals in Mormon, Western or American history. Come and experience the unforgettable retelling of the handcart story. The play has a cast of over 150 people, featuring Joseph Paur (star of “Rigoletto”) who plays Brigham Young. The play, the music and lyrics are the original work of Cory Ellsworth along with Randy Kartchner and Mildred Packard. is coming to the Mesa Arts Center June 27- July 3 All night performances are at 7:00 pm (with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on the 28th). Family Musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers will be performed June 27, 28, and 30th at 7 pm, at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10.75. Interdenominational Choir- If you would like to join the “Voices of Peace” choir directed by Holly Ashby, they meet Every Sunday 8pm at the Kimball Stake Center , 32nd Street and Southern in Mesa. Maybe bring a friend of another faith with you.
