Showtime Utah Celebrates Strawberry Days

Showtime Utah celebrates along with Pleasant Grove’s Strawberry Days
where “Everyone comes home for Strawberry Days” from June 16th through the 21st.

Main Street will be buzzing with the excitement of the activities for Strawberry Days. Showtime Utah will be right in the middle of that excitement as they open their theater for drinks and refreshments all week long. Walk-in are welcome to come in out of the heat and relax with drinks and snacks including fresh frozen fruit smoothies, the best root beer floats around and specialty ice cream bars, nacho’s and popcorn. Pepsi products will also be sold.

Mama’s Boys, Pleasant Grove’s very own original family band will be performing at a concert in the park on Tuesday and at Showtime Utah on Friday and Saturday night at the Old West Dinner Adventure. Mama’s Boys have become quite popular in a short period of time after performing at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on New Year’s Eve. The five sons and their dad, Scott Shumway, perform songs from the Old West such as Ghost Riders in the Sky and Tumbling Tumbleweeds along with other Old West favorites as well as classic songs from the 70’s such as Old Black Water sung in perferct harmony and the ever popular The Devil Went Down to Georgia. The Mama’s Boys are as diverse in their music as they are in their personalities.

Pleasant Groves Mammoth parade will be passing by Showtime Utah on historic downtown Pleasant Grove’s Main Street on Saturday Morning. Showtime Utah will be open for parade goers to get out of the sun while waiting for the parade to begin and will have their root beer floats as well as all other drinks and snacks available during and after the parade.

From 11 to 4 PM on Friday and Saturday Showtime Utah will have on-going live entertainment as well as karaoke on their stage for those out looking for something to do during the afternoon hours. All snacks will also be available for those shows.

The Old West Dinner-show Adventure featuring Mama’s Boys will begin at 7 PM on both Friday and Saturday nights. Reservations are suggested and can be made on-line at ShowtimeUtah.com or by calling 801-636-9669.

Monday the 23rd of June at Family Night Live, Rick Macy, a well known Salt Lake actor (Testaments, Joseph Prophet of the Restoration) will give his amazing presentation of Mark Twain along with many other talented children and adults in Utah who will be performing dances, musical presentations and even a magic act.
