Utah County Auditions For “Freedom” Musical
PROVO — The Crandall Historical Print Museum Colonial Days is holding auditions for the musical “First Freedom: An American Miracle.
“Cast members will be paid $300 a week, plus housing. They will also receive a food per diem during performance weeks. Performers must be available to rehearse in out-of-area venues June 9-Aug. 2.
Orem auditions will be held Wednesday from 5-7:30 p.m. at SCERA. Ogden auditions will be held Thursday from 3:30-6 p.m. at Weber State University in the Browning Center for the Performing Arts, Room 230.
Those interested should come prepared with two contrasting songs, each 16-24 measures, a one-minute serious monologue, a headshot and professional resume. An accompanist will be provided. Auditions are for all ages, focusing especially on 40- to 65-year-olds.
